    Great day, great actors!
The staff were amazing and helpful! The rides themselves were very busy, so we did purchase 2 fast tracks for swarm and nemesis; although we regretted not buying them for the rest of the rides as the queues towards end of day were 120 minutes up… but again it was half term and fright night so was expected. The scare mazes.. so we did trailers first which I recommend doing first if you’ve not done the mazes before as it is a very easy maze to get through without the stress of the bigger scares and mazes - staff at this maze we’re lovely as we had a large teddy which we were able to leave with the women to get once we had came out other side (this was then allowed also on Survival games, but not with Creek Freak Massacre as we had to take it with us.. was quite the experience). Creek Freak Massacre, this was very fun… the actors did an amazing job and were very interactive even before you were in the actual maze. The maze itself was very well set out and had a good back ground story and designs. Survival games, again great staff as they do give you the warnings you need when you join the queue which for us was 75 minutes, but they made sure we were aware of the consent we had to give which included being touched/pushed and split up from our group - just to clarify this they split you in to groups of approximately 3 people so you will not be alone do not panic! The story line behind the survival games maze was very well done although if you haven’t watched the trailers on Thorpe park’s YouTube account you may be a little confused as it doesn’t explain it during the queues. Overall, the day was great lots of things to do but would recommend buying fast tracks for as much as possible due to the large queues since the shortest queue time for the ‘main’ rides was around 50 minutes.. but anyways can’t praise the staff at Thorpe park enough on this visit. Only thing I’d say they could improve was more actors around the park just walking among the public for jump scares/interaction!

    Good day out
Visited on a Wednesday during the summer holidays and although the park was obviously very busy we still managed to get on all 5 of the big rollercoasters plus a couple of the other rides. We arrived at around 9.45, didn’t have bags so avoided the huge queue for bag search (definitely recommend not bringing a bag if you are able to!) and stayed until 5pm so we could’ve gone on more rides had we stayed for longer. We downloaded the app in advance and used this throughout the day to plan which ride to go on next. We went to Colossus first followed by Saw and both queues were less than 30 minutes. We didn’t queue for anything for more than 45 minutes all day and found that generally the app/sign waiting times were fairly accurate. Didn’t see much of the negative things others have mentioned in reviews, other than one group queue jumping which is very annoying. All of the food places were very busy but service was efficient. Parking is overpriced on top of the entrance price and the QR code system isn’t great as lots of people were struggling to get out of the car park. Was nice to see singers and dancers performing around the park as part of Park Vibes. The park itself isn’t the best theme park I’ve been to and could do with a bit of an upgrade but the rides are brilliant although some are starting to show their age! Would recommend using a 2 for 1 voucher otherwise it’s very expensive.
