Ever wanted to acquire the skills needed to prepare your own delicious Thai dishes? Now you can do this on one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand - Koh Tao! All our Thai cooking lessons are held in small groups. No more than 6 cooking apprentices are in each Thai cooking course. They are led by our experienced Thai chef "Joy". Joy speaks fluent English and is highly knowledgeable in all aspects of preparing Thai dishes. Her specialties are sea food (southern Thai cuisine) and vegetarian spicy dishes.

Joy is a great cook, a marvelous host and a fun person be be around ... and also I learned a lot about Thai food ?
Great Thai cooking class on a rooftop terrace with a marvelous view on the ocean. After our group of 4 choose the dishes (Penang Curry, Pad Thai, Sticky Rice with Mango and Spring Rolls) our host (Joy) checked our individual preferences. For instance, I preferred my Pad Thai with Shrimp while others decided to prepare it with chicken. The cooking session was fun and well organized. Joy took care that the food we prepared was absolutely delicious and gave heaps of tips and advice on how to prepare it after we returned to our home countries. What definately helped was that she had made her own experiences with cooking in Europe (in particular Germany) so she was able to teach us her experiences. All in all it was a great experience and I can personally recommend to learn how to cook Thai food at this place. Due to Joy being such a good host and moderator the course is suited for the experienced cook and the beginner alike.

Cookinseln with a view
We cooked a Curry, Stir-fry and the famous PadThai and esch one of it was a blessing. Joy is such a warm and comforting person that it is really a joy learning from her. She takes her time explaining everything and answering your questions. And the ambiance ist also really nice with a wonderful view over the ocean. Would highly recommend and it was worth every cent!
