Nice area

Very nice area, parking place is very near. 4eur/day. Perfect colors, nice and clean. Very good apfel strudel at the restaurant nearby.

    Beautiful lake
    Just you must see it self. Parking is about 5 minutes walk from the lake. Toilets are available nearby the lake.

    Perfect Stop
    We were advised to stop here on our way to Admont Abbey, and I'm so glad we did. There's a parking lot and from there, there are several hiking trails to and beyond the lake. It's a short little hike to get there. It's breathtaking to see. The lake is a crystal clear, bright green color and turquoise in the sunlight. The mountain's reflection can be seen in the water. It's absolutely beautiful. The lake is only visible during May/June and some of July I think because the water that fills it comes from the snow melting off the mountain above, so if you are in Austria during these months, you should definitely make a little trip to see it.
