Wonderful view and perfect for swimming
The view is wonderful and it is not deep, therefore, fantastic for swimming. It is a nice destination for family and friends. There are facilities like WCs and changing rooms. One can rent boats and enjoy the sea. Besides, there are not ATMs there, therefore, do not forget to bring cash for the shops around the sea.

Clear waters, fantastic lake
There is a nice beach with cafè, a big slide and two docks where one can jump into the (freezing) water. Beautiful though. Really really beautiful

Beautiful Erlaufsee
This is a very nice mountain lake close to famous Mariazell. It is very clear and suitable for watersports, bathing and also diving (diving school is on NW side). NW side has mostly private grounds on the strand. On the SE side is a public beach with refreshment Buffet. It is frequently visited so you can have problem with parking. Comparing to other Austrian mountain lakes Erlaufsee has pleasant temperature till the depth of 6-8m (21-22C). Close to the strand it is shallow so it is suitable also for smaller kids.
