    More than expected
We took a walk up to the Burg and just ended up at the museum. It was close we didn‘t go in because it looked small and pretty heavily priced. But we got a group discount and went in. We were very impressed by the size of the collection from way back in time. Our teenagers enjoyed the visit especially the section of weapons. The dungeon was also thrilling. The top terrace gives a wonderful view. It is possible to only pay for the top terrace. I recommend the museum with a walk up or down the ravine behind the castle (requires some effort, not suitable for small children and push chairs). It is cooling on hot days and why not bring some swim suits to the kids if they want to take a dip in the river. The restaurant has what it seems a price worthy set menu (we didn‘t try it) but just a few 100 m away there is a nice gasthaus too, the Gasthof StöcklPeter, which we tried and was good. Down the road beyond the gasthof there are a few Buschenschanks where you can try some wine and have a lighter meal. So all in all it gives an all day experience!

    Amazing View
While was in a business trip in Graz, I had the free afternoon on a Saturday. I went there using the countryside road, not the highway. From Graz, it is around 40 min using this way, but totally worth. The road is simply one of the most beautiful I've ever caught. The beautiful castle is sitting on the top of a mountain, you can see it from anywhere on the city below. There is no difficulties on finding the way to the castle, and you can go by car until the main entrance. There's a quite big parking lot on the front of the castle, and there were no much cars when I was there. The museum and the exhibition are amazing, with a lot of local history inside. However, there's nothing in English to help you understand even better the collection. What was most incredible to me was the "Aussichtsplattform" or the observation site on the top of the castle. The view over is amazing and worth the admission price by itself.
