Incredible ship exhibit…

The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the seabed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world's only preserved 17th century ship.

    Vasa Museum
Today I was able to visit the great Vasa vessel located in Stockholm. Right away I recommend to visit it early or during unpopular times, in order to skip the big cue during busy times. The entry fee only distinguishes between adults and children, which I have found to be a bit disappointing for students. With everything the Museum has to offer (Cinema, Audio Guides, Information displays, etc) I think the price is fair though. Additionally I would recommend to spend around 2-3 hours depending on how much information you would like to see. For rainy days in the summer I personally think this is worth a visit, especially since the conservation of the ship is challenging. Therefore it might not be here forever, even though scientists are working on solutions for this. Finally I would recommend this to all sorts of visitors (Families, Couples, Friends or Solo) especially since the ticket processing is very efficient and payable by card.

    Fun few hours
This was a great, interactive museum to see. Many floors, lots to see and read. Would definitely recommend to others. Went there during off season, mid week and right away when they opened, so tickets were cheaper and less crowded.
