There is so many things to do in Djurgarden. Walking is a great way to see the park. Then there is the Museum to spend hours on a rainy day or for history buffs. Skensen is a must to see, especially at Christmas. They have the best Christmas market and special shows, plus the zoo. I love the park and go every time I visit Stockholm. Easy to get there by bus.

    Lovely Place to Walk
    The old royal hunting grounds on Djurgarden have some great walking trails. You can walk all around the island for free. In addition to the walking trails there are also museums like the Vasa Museum and the Viking Museum as well as Skansen and the amusement park. But, just walking around the forested areas of the island is very relaxing and a great way to get some exercise and reduce your stress.

    Especially Love the Royal Greenhouses
    There's tons of famous tourist destinations out on Djurgården but us locals' favorite place is the Royal greenhouses where they grow the flowers and veggies for the various castle gardens around Stockholm. There are plants for sale and a cafe' ov course but there is also a wine kiosk. And don't miss the Labrynth. A small one but fun to go through no matter. The walk there and back, a loop walk, is a wonderful way to spend a few hours chatting with your friends, family, or visitors.
