Facelifted Club house and Renewed Golf course offering Pay & Play 18 & 9 holes w decent restaurant!:)
A family visit, mother and son (both well over over their teens) golf with coffees and sausages after 9-holes/18, self-service coffee shop (paying later in the Club House bar), fully running restaurant with bar (alcoholic beverages) and a good course, no waiting this time! With access to carts for rent (pensioners less), we found the greens of top level for so late in the season (mid September), they could take a beating (club has 1300 members and a huge rise in visiting gofers), fairways immaculate with very little of damage fr clubs, but tricky new fairways (visited 5-10 years ago), high-class tees and beautiful landscaping. If any negative the huge distance to walk on one tee, somewhere near Hole no 7? - were the old Holes 15/16 - a Scandal! Very tiresome for pensioners hard enough to walk already pulling a wagon behind. Most kind and accommodating receptionist, great restaurant chef and manager...general friendliness . Good driving range where you pay by Payment card or one club related. Plenty of space also when raining (under roof).
