But at this museum you are an important part of the experience! We simply want you to experience the feeling of being the 5th ABBA member. To find out what you would look like in their legendary stage costumes, to sing at the Polar Studio, to experience exciting 3D avatars, and to enter the stage together with the band.

If you like ABBA or popular music, it would be a crime not to visit!
Loads of positives - the whole ABBA story is exceptionally well presented and documented and if you take the time to read through the posted texts by the exhibits you will really take something away with you. There are also some fun activities if you wish to participate and we found the whole experience to be innovative and well worth the time and money. One or two slight drawbacks exist - the entrance and ticket purchase area is a little chaotic"trafficwise" and deadly if cruise ship parties are in the house! This is one attraction we did not book on line in advance and had to wait 20 minutes to buy a ticket and an extra 45 minutes for a slot. Even with restricted entry numbers per time slot, the rooms, which are quite small, were rather crowded. Definitely recommend making an on-line prior reservation and despite the wait, we walked out very happily!

    Waterloo-verly visit !!
As an interested visitor rather than an ABBA fan I found the museum very comprehensive covering the early days, the peak of popularity and what they did next. If you are an avid fan I’m sure you could spend a couple of hours here but for me I saw as much as I wanted within an hour which made it an expensive visit. As we were on a schedule I booked tickets via a third party App the day before. Initially this was an issue as I wasn’t sent a QR code but after a couple of minutes tapping away one of the very friendly staff members found details of my booking and all was good. The museum is set out so everyone basically follows the same route around. Audio guides are available but not necessary in my opinion. Exhibits are very extensive as far as their records and costumes are concerned. There are lockers available for belongings if you want one and as usual when you finish your tour the route spits you out into the very well stocked obligatory souvenir shop. Stockholm is so well organised for tourists. This museum is situated in a museum district so there are lots of other things to see close by. This includes the funfair and some beautiful parks and river side walks with cafes. The area is very easily accessible by the little taxi boats that operate in a triangle between here, the city centre and the cruise ship terminal.
