How city's water supply started in the jungles

When Blumenau was founded by German immigrants, the village was lost in the wild jungles. At the museum you can see how brave people were to get the comfort of water supply. Germans were abandoned by the government and let at their own destiny.

    On the hill
There are two reasons for a visit. It is rather unusual to find a museum that is dedicated to water, and the view from here is one of the best in the city.

Amazing viewpoint of city, but boring Museum
The location is very interesting, it's on a high level point of Blumenau, on Boa Vista Hill. You can see the downtown, the Itajaí-Açu River, a lot of hills and others regions of the city. But the museum is not so interesting. If you don't have a scheduled visit, you don't learn so much about the processes of water filtration.
