Interesting and relevant

A friend recommended Klimahaus so decided to visit with a different friend and it was the first visit for both of us. We both agreed that it was excellent value for money because there is so much to see and do and plenty of interactive exhibits. I was really interested in the exhibition about renewable energy and visiting the different climates was very good. There is a very good aquarium area as you walk through the climates and a lot of the information was available in English as well as German. It was fairly busy with school children when we arrived and the building is quite echoey so meant a lot of noise which was the only downside but can appreciate that it is the perfect place for school groups so this was to be expected. Overall really recommend this place, it has lots to offer, is easy to find and has parking right underneath.

    Very interesting with some potential
The topic is extremely relevant and also very "in". We visited on a rainy day and the queue was extremely long 1+ hour till admittance. (One should stand in the queue and the others can discover the mall...) Drop your bags and coats before starting upstairs, there is a no bag policy and it is warm enough. The exhibition is split into different areas, they are all very informative and well made. We found that it give a superb view of what happened to the climate but it is somewhat weak about the future prospects (measures, lack of them, consequences).

    Don’t miss it!
It a very very interesting concept. However it’s also sensory overload. No way to do it all. We enjoyed it very much as 2 adults. The museum was evacuated as an alarm was set off accidentally. The staff were marvelous and gave us blankets because we had to wait outside. We got there right at 10 as was recommended but NO WAY would I do that again. Hordes of scouts and school groups meant tweens running through the museum at top speed shouting. By the time we left at 2 they were all gone. I wish I’d started at 2 instead. The climate zones are very well done and there’s so much to read and experience. Loved the informative approach , not heavy handed.
