Savonlinna Cathedral
The beauty of this part of Savonlinna is enhanced by the simplicity of the building's construction and its attendant Hero's grave. My thoughts are that representation fully reflects the classical beauty and simplicity of the Finnish people. Peaceful and calm. This is well worth the time spent there.

Odd looking statue
This is a war monument located next to the cathedral. I thought the statue was one of the ugliest I've ever seen

Very plain
After the war memorial in Stalingrad this is very simple and unassuming - go if in the area but not worth a special visit
