A good place
the archaeological zone is spectacular. The jungle is beautiful and you can visit it on your own because there is a path made. The only bad thing is the local population that works in the area. The guides at the collection point are going to give you an exorbitant price for their services. They are very heavy and in the ruins themselves there are much cheaper guides. In the parking lot they try to charge you for "caring for the car" saying that if you don't pay you don't leave, don't be scared we didn't pay and nothing happened but they intimidate and suggest that something could happen to the car.

A bucket list must!
One of the largest archeological sites that we have visited. Beautifully maintained. Very peaceful, as most Mayan sites are. We spent a few hours here and chose not to hire a guide, but I would recommend it, if you want the "full" experience.
