It worth every minute
My first suggestion is to check how much it will cost from Puerto Escondido, the Laguna is about 15 Minutes away and you will pay there $200 /pax. We took the ride at the last restaurant, they are very nice with a brand new boat. The first ride is about 7 PM and more or less they depart every hour. Just be sure to do this ride on a real dark night, if you do it with full moon probably you will not see too much and get disappointed. Do not forget to tip your guide.

Bird watching with Lalo Ecotours
We had an early morning bird watching tour with Lalo Ecotours. Our guide, Eve, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, birds, and local ecosystems having been raised on the shores of Laguna Manialtepec. During our tour we viewed 66 species of birds and enjoyed our guide being able “lure” in birds for closer viewing with his unique ability to mimic their calls. Great boat and exciting tour. Highly recommended for serious birders.
