Cascadas Mágicas de Copalitilla, Southern Mexico, Mexico

4.5 (635 reviews) Spent Ranking #5 in Southern Mexico Waterfalls

Breathtaking water fall tour in the mountains.

Our tour guide Alejandro (Alex) was amazing, the falls were breathtaking. If you have a well abled group you can climb the falls and jump off, climb through caves & rope swing. Alex was so knowledgeable on all the local wildlife and knew a lot of the locals. We felt safe while travelling, the 1hr 45min drive was well worth it. You could bring kids if you were to pack snacks & lunch incase they don’t like the traditional lunch stop. Bring pesos for extras/tips for locals & gift shops. Would definitely do this again.

    Yes! Highly recommend!
Amazing! Edgar was so knowledgeable about the history of the villages we went through. The stops were fantastic, he 100% went the extra mile showing us the cinnamon trees, and helping out at the stops to make sure our questions were answered and that everyone enjoyed their visit. The water falls were beautiful, he took care that everyone made it up the rocks safely. Note, there are some difficult climbs, they were a bit scary but Edgar was there for support and guidance all the way. And patience! Highly recommend!

Magic waterfalls with Anna’s Travels Huatulco
We had a great day with Anna’s Tours Huatulco today. She was right on time, speaks very good English, and is very knowledgeable about the area. She is funny and entertaining. She plans the tour so we saw the smaller lower pools first, finishing with the grand finale of the highest waterfalls. Somehow this helped us to avoid crowds and we mostly had each pool to ourselves. She took lots of pictures for us so we didn’t have to be careful to keep a camera or phone dry. She knows all the good photo spots. She is very patient if you are a little unsure of your footing in some of the trickier climbs. On the way to the falls we stopped at a local cooperative market where we could use the restroom and purchase souvenirs if we wanted (take cash for this part). We bought some vanilla, coffee, and Mezcal Cream. On the way home we stopped for an authentic mexican lunch that was delicious. Find her on Facebook and connect by Messenger.
