Breathtaking natural beauty
Stunning waterfalls with clean, well maintained paths. There are plenty of places to swim, too. We stayed a night in the cabins and it was very relaxing. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site. The food was good and prices were fair.

Get a driver and can’t miss
Beautiful park and must do zip lining. We hiked all the way to the top for great views . Very well maintained. Beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. The route there was full of sugar cane fields and pine trees. We got a private driver from Colonial tours right by San Cristobal church on hill. He was wonderful and easiest way to get there. He also took us to breakfast along the river to a peaceful place on by the river where we observed iguanas and so peaceful

Amazing views
We visited El Chiflon on our way back from Montebello to San Cristobal. It is a beautiful place with several cascades or waterfalls. The main attraction is Velo de Novia at the top of the area. It takes about 40 minutes to go up and 20 to come back down. You can swim in the river. The water is so pure and just a little cold, but not bad at all. The climb can be tough for those not in decent shape. The view from the top is amazing and the climbing is totally worthy.
