Worth it!
We chartered a yacht for the day to visit some of Huatulco’s bays and beaches and hopefully spot some sea life. We heard that San Agustin was the best and it did not disappoint. The snorkelling here was excellent. Such a fun reef to explore with all sorts of trenches and caverns. And the lunch and drinks we had at the restaurant on the beach was one of my favourite meals of the trip. They showed us the fresh caught fish right at the table. You could pick a lobster if you wanted. We went with Mahi Mahi that they turned into delicious ceviche. I could easily do a whole day there. If I visit Huatulco again, I will definitely come back here.

Beautiful!
This was our favorite beach even though it was hard to get to - either by boat or really horrible road. this is the best snorkeling by far of all the beaches. calm and clear, really great. a turtle had hatched out right under the hammock area (big PLUS for this) at the Los Abuelo's restaurant which also has great food. would definitely spend more time here if it was easier to get to!
