Refreshing and realxing

In small town Gyula, there are fortification remains with fortress and castle. In between there is lot of parking spaces (don't forget to pay parking EVERY day from 08 to 18 - 250ft per hour). In the pictures below you can see ticket prices for fortress. We entered the castle - 2500ft per person for permanent exibition. If you want an audio guide, 700ft more. Coffee in the caffee is 590ft. The castle is a bit messy but nice. It shows how do they live in really detailed an interesting way.

    Magnificent Castle!
You must visit this castle from the 15th century. It is located in the city of Gyula in the eastern Hungary, and it is very easy to find, a lot of road signs also. Parking is on the street and costs around 300 HUF per 1h (0.8 EUR or 1 USD). As for the ticket price is 1700 HUF per person (4.8 EUR or 5.5 USD), but you have family packet 2+2 and many more so be sure to check it out on their website. As for the Castle the setup is very nice and the view from the top is amazing. You have a lake also around the Castle where you can rent a boat for rowing or peddling. There is a toilet inside the castle. Also many street vendors in front of the Castle with souvenirs. We recommend it!

    Impressive from outside
Our family was visiting family in Gyula and strolled by thud castle late one cold December evening after it was closed. Gyula castle has a lovely setting and seems like it would be well worth visiting. At night it is beautifully illuminated and there is a pool of water right in front the compliments the solid brick fortress.
