Pleasant park area near lakeside

More a park than a forest, though there are over 500 trees. I understood each tree has a guardian. Remarkable is the "insectenhotel", a place especially arranged for insects. I did not see any! Overall the park is a pleasant place to stroll around. You can observe the site is in good care by motivated volunteers. Moreover, it is bordering the lake, a suitable place for a picnic or a break while cycling to historic Brielle, which is closeby.
