Windy But Fun

What a fun beach to visit! It is an easy trip on the tram from The Hague to Scheveningen Beach. It was very windy when we were there, but people were flying kites and it was fun to walk along the beach and on the pier. I would recommend leaving the boardwalk to eat as you can find less expensive options a few streets from the beach.

    Wonderful Sandy Beach
    The beach tapers into the ocean at a nice depth so safety for children well-maintained. The waters are wonderful. For a fee, the restaurants will rent lounge chairs and an umbrella. There are unique spots along the beach. Some with real soft sane and others sections just covered with sea shells. A nice place to speak the day. We stayed ½ day. The tram will take you from the Hague Centraal Train station to one block within walking distance to the beach.

    A place to relax
    We spent a few days here and found it totally relaxing. We were glad to find so many good quality restaurants in the beach area and around Scheveningen. It was a bit crowded on Easter Sunday, but that was not surprising at all. There is so much to do and see for everyone, wether they are young or old!
