If you want to know how whould the nederland look like if it wasn't cultivaqted - take a stroll in Loetbos.

I really enjoyed Loetbos. Came twice just to take a walk by the water, watch the ducks with their ducklings, and the Willows over the water. My kind of place.

Great for cycling, hiking or rowing
Holland has no wild nature as man has cultivated the land for centuries. Still the Loetbos probably resembles best how the landscape was before the peat diggers and farmers came. Most of the area is easily accessible on foot and by bike or boat. To get there from Rotterdam Central Station take a bus to Lekkerkerk and ask the driver to be let off at Loetbos. Alternatively rent a bicycle at Rotterdam station and cycle there. It is 17 km.
