    Interesting place to visit
We visited this place on our bus tour. We saw the graves of Wild Bill and Calamity Jane. We also saw the grave of Madam Dufran, her husband and their parrot. It's a cemetery buily into a very steep hill. If you only want to see this group of graves, I would strongly recommend taking one of the tours. They also cover the entrance fee of $2 a person. If you also want to see the grave of Seth Bullock, you would need to walk it, and it's very steep. You have to walk. You can't drive unless you go on one of the tours.

Beautiful cemetery high on the hill with a cast of characters
A visit to this well kept cemetery is a must for Deadwood travelers as it speaks to the lore of its historic characters - Wild Bill Hickok, Calamity Jane, Seth Bullock and of course who would forget Potato Creek Johnny. There's no driving in the cemetery, as you park in their lot adjacent to the gift shop and entrance. You get a map with your minimal entrance fee. It's just a short walk up a steep paved driveway to pay respects to Bill, Jane, and Johnny, but its a long upward walk to see Seth (one we did not take). We later discovered and rode on the "Boot Hill Tour" bus that takes you around town and the cemetery (only cemetery bus). This was well worth the price as the narrator went into fun detail on the lore of the characters, and we got a nice tour of the cemetery - including a stop at Bill, Jane, and Johnny! The bus tour even includes readmittance to the cemetery on your own.
