The fresh fruit , vegetables and spices looked amazing
We went here on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy as it was closed Monday so people were getting their food and supplies for the the start of the week. As always there is a little bit of hassle from some of the sellers but we just politely so no thank you and found the stalls we did want to buy from. Some of the stalls further inside actually had prices displayed which is always helpful. We went into entrance 10 and had seen enough within an hour and a half. Some of food at the cafes looked tempting but we weren’t hungry.

Absorb the Agadir culture by visiting the souk!
We decided to visit the souk after we were advised by our friends that had visited Agadir before. Also the hotel staff highly recommended a visit to the souk to truly absorb the Moroccan Agadir culture. The souk market that very densely packed with locals and many tourists. I would say it is a market with over 150+ small market shops inside this part open top Building. It was a great experience as you enter and are greeted by many market traders enticing you into their shop, promising you that they have the cheapest price and the best quality merchandise. You can buy all types of Moroccan souvenirs, to Moroccan clothing, Moroccan argon oil, honey etc. Please note it’s very important you bargain and negotiate with any item you buy. Whatever price they offer, offer them 20% of what they ask… and then very slowly work your way up! Good luck!
