Too touristic, too business

Every North African town has a kasbah, a traditional administrative building made from mud and straw. This one, nestled against the High Atlas Mountains, is among the most impressive of its kind.

Old city with a history of movies
We did a guided tour of the old city which was an amazing experience. The tour fee for two of us was 150 MAD and I would totally recommend it (Atlas Studio can be missed if you want a trade off). The old city has a hilly terrain and you can walk right up to the top to get a nice view.

Don’t pay the “entrance “ fee.
Do not pay the aggressive men at the entrance door the 20MAD entrance fee, entry is actually free and it’s a UNESCO site. Simply walk away and use the other entrance around by the Gladiator cafe. How many visitors get conned like this everyday? The men should be arrested and it’s not fair on the traders inside who depend on visitors money. Apart from the idiots at the entrance we did enjoy our experience inside and the view from the top was amazing.
