    Standing on history
Wow a must place to visit.. not only is it stunning to look out into the bay, to to take a moment and realise that both Capt Cook and HMS Bounty both landed at this point is quite a surreal moment. Two huge historical moments thta had a profound effect on the world at the time. The black beaches are beautiful to walo on and the Point Venus Lighthouse stands proudly on the shore. There is also local crafts stalls and a cafe with plenty of parking.. a perfect olace t9 while away the day

Lovely spot for a lazy day
Gorgeous long volcanic beach surrounded by gorgeous natural habitat. Home to Tahiti’s only lighthouse that dominates approach to beach. Local fishing boats stand out of the water....idyllic!
