Nice villa, nice view and perfect graphics - Zoran Music
Renaissance villa Dobrovo is one of the best architectures of Brda. It has average vine cellar and average restaurant in the ground floor. You need to walk up through small doors right of the main entrance and walk up to the second floor. There is fine collection of graphics, all works of Zoran Music (1909 -2005). Painter was from Brda but he lived in Venice and Paris. You need to be persistent. Local personnel are sometimes lazy and they don’t know how to explain the collections (they don’t have enough knowledge) in the building. During the summer season you can visit a concert or two. We hope that local commune will educate some better guides for this museum and Vipolže.

Warm Welcome
We were warmly welcomed at this landmark that has been restored as a restaurant and tasting room. Irina in the tourist information point told us about things to do in the local area and we left with an armload of maps, brochures and a helpful pamphlet listing the opening times of nearby wine tasting rooms. Interesting history about the local poet, and the friendship between the Dobrovo mayor and Nehru. Viewing terrace overlooks the Klet Brda wine producing center. Good place to get your bearings before touring Šmartno and surrounding wine region by car. A lot of bus tours also seem to stop here. Disagree with previous reviews mentioning rudeness. We had the complete opposite experience.

In the centre of Dobrovo, nice place
Nice place to visit, not very big. Outside on the parking lot, there is a very good bill board with all the wineries in the area with information on what they offer.
