Fascinating!

Close to the River Sava and near to the front lines in the Bosnian wArs of the 1990s as it is, the Cemetery was a brilliant place to commune with one's feelings of Eternity. It's a sombre place but well worth visiting.

    Slavonski Brod
    I know SB as a tip of my toe. Dont know what is so special bout our cemetary and wouldnt recommend a visit. But as a small city it has Sava and you can take nice romantic walks by the river. It has nice 19th century fortress. And above all it has nice people if you dont mind the air polution.

    cemetery as a reflection of life
    In my opinion it is not a tourist attraction, but there one can see the reflection of the change of different systems and states(Austria-Hungary, Kingdom of Yugoslavia, communist Yugoslavia ,Rep.of Croatia) in human lives and ways of burial
