Extremely entertaining and mind-blowing exhibits
Malmöhus Castle is Scandinavia´s oldest surviving Renaissance castle. Here Denmark´s coins were minted in the Middle Ages and here Crown Prince Frederick held wild parties in the 16th century. Prisoners were beheaded in the courtyard in the 19th century. Today Malmöhus forms part of Malmö Museer. Eclectic mix
A nice walk through park land to reach the castle. It was interesting to learn about the history of castle. What was surprised me was what else was contained within the building. It was worth seeing the aquarium and a large exhibition of Scandinavian art through the ages.

Nice old fortification
Impressive old fortification/castle with the oldest part are from the 14-hundreds when this part of Sweden belonged to Denmark. It is today a museum where you can learn about the history. At the entrance there is also a bus on display as a memorial when neutral Sweden during the second world war help a lot of Scandinavian, Jewish etc prisoners to get out of Germany towards the end of the war.
