Cool and easy to reach!

So we spent a day in Malmo recently and upon approaching the city via train this sky scraper stood out like a beacon! We had to go have a look! It's about 1km away from Malmo Central station via a harbour area that's nice and flat. The building turns a full 90 Degrees from ground to the 54th floor! Very cool and photogenic. Theres a supermarket and little fast food outlets nearby so no excuse not to visit!

The Most Overrated Building in the Country
For a skyscraper it's is not that much of an eyesore, simply a bit uninteresting. How a privileged city like Malmö, having a cornucopia of contenders available could ever choose this as a symbol reveals a self-confidence so profoundly, unexpectedly and unforgivably weak that even an egyptian sphinx would have a hard time phrasing it as a riddle. Inner city redevelopment is again at an all time low with overlarge horrors being erected in every street corner, with no regard whatsoever to the unique characteristics of specific areas. Malmö used to have the docks as it's symbol. Docks filled with working men. It speaks volumes that they'll now settle for some middle class condominiums handed out by middle class politicians. The rest of us can keep from laughing. Here is where it started.

    amazing building !
Spent a few nice minutes taking pics of this iconic structure in Malmo, Sweeden. Really unusual and breathtaking. I am unsure how they built this structure in such a confined space. Wish the building itself was open to the public... would have enjoyed taking photos inside and at the top.
