We went to Baoyang Lu Harbor via Line 3 BaoyangLu Metro Station and took a ferry boat from Shanghai and arrived to Chongming's port town of Nanmen (南门)after 45 minutes (fare is around 28RMB). It's hard to find a hotel in Nanmen so I advise to book a hotel before goinh there. The taxi ride from Namen to Xisha is roughly RMB 90, you can also take a local private car at 100RMB.Xisha wetland has no entrance fee. The place is amazing! so relaxing .The green fields are visible in the wide horizon. A wooden path running through it allows visitors to enjoy the beauty of beautiful plants,a small lake,birds, trees and other wildlife.My family enjoyed the nature so much! Some folks are selling Bamboo sticks with a piece of meat on the end, which are used to rake up the crabs at 10RMB.Boat rides are available too. At the end of the wetland is a big lake called Mingzhu Lake Park, it has an entrance fee.See more..
