Observed plenty of Zebra and Wilderbeast crossing the river
We observed many Wilderbeast and Zebra making the river crossing, it's not as wide as the Mara river, but still worth the experience

FACE OF SERENGETI!
Serengeti National Park as the famous National Park and very unique in Africa it may offer you a different looking all year round! As one of the huge National Park with different attractions in different season, Grumeti River which is in the Western side of Serengeti is here where most of Travelers especially those who arrange their holidays with professional Operators in Tanzania. Is here where they will start to experience the River Crossing by different animals from Wildebeest, Zebras and even other more! Not only looking for crossing but also is here where the Grumeti River is real active during June and July as during this time of the year is raining season in Western Corridor of Serengeti as during the rest of the year this area is dry and less active but with other attractions including residents animals and other different animals. Is here in Grumeti River where the huge Crocodile are very active during the Migration passing and compete with each other to find the food from any of those animals who are coming to the River for Crossing or drinking! The best and special place to visit in June and July while animals are rooming around around but not only for those Migration animals but as well as different species of the Birds from small as Finch to Big scavenger birds as Marabou Storks, Vultures, Eagles and even other different which you can subscribe if you're not a birder!! For those who are very interesting and well concentration of Wild life and nature the Grumeti Area is well attractive and well alive during this period and very interesting which doesn't hide anything and which it will never left you behind without value your day in each single moment you will have here! The Western Corridor is among of those those area form the Heart of Serengeti National Parks and makes the Serengeti to be well known and become a Seven Wonders in the World! Its very difficult to explain much from my heart as a professional Travelers and as a professional Guide with East Africa National Parks by writing through internet but if any one may be interesting to pick any details from me or guiding I'm willing to explain more and give more information!
