Got to feed Nessie
Many people believe that this brooding lake in Northern Scotland, 21 square miles in size at an average depth of 800 feet, could certainly hide a large dinosaur-like "monster," the lake's long-time and elusive resident.

Beautiful Legendary Lake
Lochness Lake is world famous for its unique Nessie monster. However, we didn’t catch a glimpse of it unfortunately during our visit – maybe it was not yet lunch time. Loch ness is also the deepest lake in all UK – hence may hide several hiding places. We passed by bus during our discovery of Scotland trip. It was quite nice really with all these green vegetations everywhere and the endless loch (or river). We didn’t have time to visit the Urquhuart castle since time was limited. This castle dates back from 13th century and played a key role during the Scottish Rebellion. Will highly recommend to visit the castle if you have time since you will travel back in time and discover Scotland unique history, and the Lochness Lake is a legendary lake not to pass by if you visit Scotland.

Great surprise at a great price
We booked this hotel for one night as part of a tour of the highlands and to be honest it exceeded our expectations ! Check in was quick and friendly where we were informed we had been allocated a lodge . The lodge was a Double Pine room , the level of cleanliness was excellent with the bathroom being absolutely immaculate . We had breakfast in the restaurant in the morning which was served quickly and was tasty and good value . For the price we paid, the cleanliness of the lodge and the friendliness of the staff we have to mark this place as very good . Top tip : book a lodge Only issue we had was with the water pressure in the shower, was intermittent and maybe needs some maintenance
