Historic Grist Mill 1650
Grist Mill built by John Stockbridge and George Russell in 1650. The site has great artifacts of milling and sits on a beautiful site. Tours in summer and through Scituate Historical Society. Great place to see how food was made during that time.

Stockbridge Grist Mill
This is a wonderful, still working Grist Mill. So nice to see how the corn was milled in days gone by. This site is only open a few times per year. Call the Scituate Historical Society to find the dates. They usually only run the mill in the spring when the water flow is high and restrictions on water use are no in place. It a wonderful stop. You can see the gears that turn the stones that crush the corn. You can buy the corn meal that is produced. We enjoy this historical site here in Scituate.

Hidden History
A few years ago an Boy Scout refurbished this historical spot to help earn the Eagle scout badge. It was brought back to it's original working state. It sits across the street from the Greenbush pond beside the marker for Judge Cushing, 1st supreme court justice in USA. If you want a little Scituate history stop by.
