Hope they repair the bridge soon
The park is opened to public but all the trails, except the view point trail, are closed because the bridge is under repair. Entrance fees of RM20 per person for non-malaysians. There is no food or drink stall so bring your own food and drinks. Wear long sleeve shirt and long pants as there are many mosquitoes. We were warned of crocodiles in the area so strictly no swimming at the beach. The accommodations (hostal and lodge) are not available for booking so only day trip is possible.

Similajau National Park
About 35-40 minutes distance from Bintulu town centre. People who want to close to the nature, go for jungle trekking and then stay a night at the hostel. Early morning the next day ,walk along the white yellowish color beach nearby.

Apparently there had been a storm late April causing damage which needed to be cleared with repairs to be done. At least the authorities could have updated the forestry website. Most important - check, check ,check ...........
