We visited the museum of the Struggle Against Bandits, which is located close to Plaza Mayor. We made a guided tour in this interesting museum in an old couvent; in the exhibition, there are simply and clear displays regarding Cuba history. We climbep to the top of the tower, allowing us to have wonderful panoramic viewpoints on Trinidad and on the surroundings!

    Fascinating landmark plus history
A wonderful old building that was once convent of San Francisco de Asis - the view from the top of the bell tower is stunning looking across to both the sea and the mountains. The main reason though for coming is another part of Cuba's history with the stories and photos of the counter-revolutionary battles in the 1960's.

An historical eye opener and awesome views
A part of Cuban history that I had little knowledge of and so this was an eye opener. Made more real by the newspaper footage and face shots of the fallen. Not expecting it, the views from above are truly awesome with a lot more peace than elsewhere.
