Wonderful surprise!
On our way to Gozalandia in San Sebastian, we stopped in the town's Plaza and were surprised to see the beautifully preserved home and Museo Historia San Sebastian. We were greeted by a lady dressed in clothing of the era; early 1900's and later given a tour by Ashley, whom was extremely knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be with. I would highly recommend it. You will see not only beautiful architecture, but also artifacts and even an original US flag with the 13 stars representing the colonies. So much history in this beautiful valley...And also please stop by the Hammock museum, where you will find a sample of the type of hammocks made by the native indians of Puerto Rico. A national treasure for sure is Tatiana Martinez Perez who now carries the tradition of making these hammocks. CAn't say enough about the people in San Sebastian! So helpful, hardworking, nice!

Beautiful restored house constructed of concrete.
We stopped in San Sebastian on route to Arecibo from Rincon. The city plaza has recently been restored as well as the beautiful casa which is now a Museo de Historia. The setting of the house right on the central plaza as well as the speculator restoration makes this a worthwhile stop when traveling in this area of the island.
