An ancient lagoon
El Salvador is a country plenty of volcanos. For instance, the department of San Miguel has one of the most particular because is active. One significant issue is the flow of subterranean water from the volcano to the Laguna de Olomega. In other words Laguna Olomega is a drainage for the volcano. Another particular remark is the Laguna as a sanctuary of birds in migration twice a year, Furthermore, there is a permanent fishing season at this place. It´s very easy to go because is less than 2 kilometers from the Litoral highway..
