Lots of interesting things in the area

We stopped first at the Khok Kham aquarium and then at the bamboo seaside reclamation project. In the tiny Muban of Khut there are lots of seafood restaurants and you can take out a boat out to the temple in the Gulf of Thailand All of these interesting sites are a few km from the dolphin viewing area. We didn’t see any on the day we went because it was windy and dolphins like calm water

Pretty and a nice walk but dolphins probably unlikely
We visited here and had a very pleasant and pretty walk along the sea, and it was only about 60-90 mins car ride outside bangkok. But there were definitely no dolphins and I think you'd be quite lucky to see them.

Not what I was expecting.
Whenever I see a sign post with a title like “Dolphin View Point” I immediately drive towards it! Sorry to say that the drive to and away were the best points. The salt flats and cockle farms are indeed worth seeing if you have never seen anything like that before but the attraction was the view point. I can confidently say the chances of seeing a dolphin are between very slim to none but that does leave some chance. The area seems to be being built up a bit more and the main attraction would be restaurants but there certainly are more attractive areas than this just down the coastline. There was a few people eating and it was early but I will not return.
