We attended a party at the Winter Island Function Hall on a beautiful summer evening. On what had been a humid day, the temperature was perfect on the island thanks to the ocean breeze. A wide porch with seating surrounds the two water-facing sides of the building, making the function hall an ideal venue for indoor/outdoor events. The asymetric rocky shoreline provides a perfect backdrop for selfies and photoshoots, especially at sunset. Inside the comfortable function hall is a floor to ceiling fireplace that adds to the ambiance of the seaside structure. A grassy area flanks the building and is a safe space for children to blow off steam or to host a game of corn hole. Also on the unique property in the Witch City is a beach and a campground that can accommodate tents, campers, and RVs. Salem decision-makers have been wise to preserve Winter Island Park as a North Shore treasure.See more..
