Glebe Street Museum, Saint Patrick Parish, Grenada

3.0 (1 review) Sunday: Spent Ranking #14 in Saint Patrick Parish Speciality Museums

Worth a visit but not the Natural History Museum

In dire need of a total revamp with a huge money injection but many interesting exhibits including an Arawak canoe.

    Disappointed
Save your $5. This is a privately owned "museum" owned by locals who returned to Grenada after living abroad. There are wooden. Sculptures from Indonesia, furniture they brought back to Grenada to an already furnished house that they secised people should pay to view: and alleged pottery from native Caribs. Remnants of Carib art, pottery are usually authenticated and placed in the national museum. The origin of the pottery mustbe authenticated, especially in this dubious setting. This business is located close to the historic Leapers Hill, so maybe the owners thought a museum would attract tourists who visit the area.
