A Lovely Place to Visit While You Are in Antigua
This is a lovely business in the heart of the shopping/restaurant district in Antigua. It has a beautiful interior with wide open spaces for relaxing and sitting and eating as well as areas that are more museum-like, a kitchen area, a chocolate making area, and areas where there are other things for sale. You can just casually walk around or you can sit at a table and order some food or you can take one of the courses they offer. I took both the cooking class AND the chocolate making/history class and both of them were outstanding! I definitely recommend this place as a stop during your time in Antigua.

Museum isn’t special but the little silver shop in the back is worth a quick visit.
This isn’t really a museum, more like a store, with displays about making chocolate and a chance to do a workshop. It’s free to enter in, so worth a few moments. We were interested in the workshop and asked several people working there (in Spanish so no language issues) how to get in line or sign up, but people kept pointing to the workshop table with no information. We stood at the table for about 5-10 minutes but no one came to help. Eventually we gave up. The four star rating comes from the little silver shop in the back—Goretti’s Jade which had pretty jewelry, made by a family, good prices for gifts, lots of time to browse. 4208-2554 what’s app
