    Lovely morning
After reading both negative and positive reviews of the establishment we decided to visit. Most of the negative reviews are based on your own personal opinion of elephants in captivity. Are guide spoke good English and the information in the museum was extremely interesting. We then met our beautiful elephant and was offered to ride her with a blanket. Then we fed her from our fruit basket and got changed to bath her. This was magical and she then instructed to shower us. I was watching all the elephants and the seem relaxed, well looked after and happy. Yes they were obeying commands but we teach our pets how to respond to the commands we give. Elephants should roam free but that isn’t going to happen. So if you can educate and inform the public about these beautiful animals that has to be a positive thing. So yes we did have a wonderful time. Emotional to actually stroke and look her in the eye and admire her strength and beauty. Visit the place and make up your own mind rather than being influenced by remarks that could only be based on personal feelings rather than the facts that are in front of you

    Eye Opening Visit
Amazing seeing elephants up close, and the member of staff who greeted us was friendly. But the whole place felt like profit machine. The two elephants we saw were chained up and the one we met was pacing up and down a small area to give rides and be washed. We were only there half hour and in the company of an elephant for 10-15 mins. And the handler requested a tip almost before our visit was over. If it wasn’t part of a pre-arranged tour we wouldn’t have visited. It felt uncomfortable and having been on a safari the day before to see elephants in the wild it was an awkward experience. The elephants are tame so perhaps can’t be reintroduced to the wild but using them as an attraction isn’t fair. I can’t comment on their treatment outside of their daily duties but a large controlled area where they can live as if wild would be much, much better.
