Nettes idyllisches Fleckchen Erde. Gute Panoramaaussichten, nette Wander-und Fahrradwege. Nice spot on the map, lots of nature, amazing views and good hiking and cycling trails!

A winter wonderland
I visited on a Wednesday morning in early March, when the region was getting a snowstorm. Due to the snow coming down and the fog, unfortunately visibility was very poor on top. I couldn’t see below me at all. However, it was a peaceful walk (I had the walk to myself), and I enjoyed the snow drifting down plus watching the birds.

Amazing view after a walk through the trees
After a boat trip pn the Saar river from Mettlach through the Saarschleif in the morning, we drove our car up the hill to have a walk through the top of the trees to go on top of the Saarschleife view point. The view is really amazing. It's a must do. Only a pity for the kids that after the walk you also have to pay again an entrance fee for the playground. Making it an expensive - pay for everything - experience
