Alif Stone Park, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia

4.5 (19 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Tudjuh Archipelago Geologic Formations

Top spot in Natuna!

The geology of Natuna Island is simply amazing, and the best place to see it up close is the Alif Stone Park. We visited the park during the day and saw all the huge granite boulders, and later went back for a special occasion dinner in the spectacular natural venue, with a small acoustic band singing amongst the rocks. We also got to see the guesthouse rooms which looked wonderful!

    Nice basic accomodation
Stayed with friends and book the whole place, consists of 6 bedrooms for 3 nights. Building was nice , well maintain and has a very good view of the stone. Only 2 rooms have bathroom inside . They have 1 big bathroom in front of the building and separate bathroom/toilet at the back . The size of standard rooms ( the ones without bathroom ) was small . Approximately about 3x3 m . With 2 single bed inside and our luggage, the area was very limited to move and open our luggage . Aircon in the bed rooms were cold enough though. The owner stays on the front building , a nice man and he always came to chit chat with us in the back terrace during our stay. He is assisted by 1 helper who basically doing everything : housekeeping and preparing f&b. As we were 12 people together , food for breakfast were bought from outside . Everyday he bought local food such as fried bananas, traditional cake or rice , porridge , etc . This accomodation doesn’t have genset . So when electricity was off , the whole place had no power . Lucky us, it was happened during the daylight, around 2-3 times as I remembered. Another good thing, there were no mosquitoes in our rooms ?. Water on the bathroom was clean and fresh , not salty at all . In the night, we could see the milkyway from the stone right in back of the accomodation .

    Nice but too hot
It was the very first time i came to this guest house. First impression is very great. The place is so private, in which there was no other guest but us. The guest house is aside the sea of natuna, with lots of big stones which we can treasure mostly by bridges they built. Inside the guest house is very hot in the day and night no matter how cold we set the airconditioner. What i really like about this place is we can swim in the seaside or canoing. The later the night, the higher the tide.. so i suggest to go swimming or canoing in the afternoon before the sunset. The view is breathtaking, we can also see the other island called senoa island from alif stone area.. the breakfast is so so.. but the view is great. also, the owner is very friendly and they tell us about life and diving experience there.. so exciting!!
