Boat trip from saarburg to mettlach
Hi we went on a boat trip from Saarburg to Mettlach and a little further up the river. It was a long trip from 0900 to 1700 with a 2 hour stay in Mettlach which is the home of villeroy and boch and where it was started.and there is a museum. We booked our tickets with the landal warsberg campsite and when we boarded there was an issue with the woman doing the checks who said we have to pay more as the campsite had got the charge wrong. It was not pleasant but we put it to one side and carried on the day. We saw hardly any wildlife however transiting the massive locks was interesting.

Ok trip. But a little crowded
We made a trip from Bernkastel to Zell with stop for 75 mins before return trip. Too many passengers, ok service, ok facilities, but the boat became more and more delayed for each stop, so we got only 40 mins to spend in Zell, just enough time to grab a snack for lunch and run back to the ship. Cleanliness could be better.

Relaxed boat tour
We took the relaxed boat tour and luckyly had good weather. Over all not very spectacular and the best views where those in saarburg itself, the further the ship went there was not much to see anymore
