Beautiful castles everywhere
This is the third time we have been on this section of the river, twice on 1 hour cruises and once as part of a European Cruise, travelling from Budapest to Amsterdam. We never get sick of it as there is so much to see and every cruise we something different. The castles are just amazing. This cruise was just as good as the others with , a beautiful boat and great service from the staff and of course great german beer.

Two trips both great
We took two trips on the river, the first was from Boppard to Koblenz which took about two hours each way with a four hour stop in Koblenz. Perhaps this was a little to long as it was extremely hot that day, at 37 degrees although we didn’t walk very far from the river and there is only one sailing on a Tuesday. The second cruise was to Sankt Goar and the Loreley rock. This took about an hour and a half. There are several departures every day but we should have taken an earlier one to have more time in Sankt Goar which is a lovely little town. Would definitely recommend these trips
