Buddha Heaven
Certainly the most enchanting Museum I've ever been to, located in the beautiful Moselle valley town of Traben-Trarbach. 4000 Buddhas from various cultures & countries, displayed superbly in a grand, castle-like setting beside the river, we indulged ourselves for four hours until closing time. Just go and see for yourself, it's a treat for lovers of the Buddha in all forms and sizes, and for those who long for some stillness and perhaps inspiration to live a more peaceful life! There is also a wonderful roof garden. We certainly had four very peaceful and reflective /introspective hours!

Sublime
This gorgeous museum houses more than 2,000 Buddhas from around the world. The King of Bhutan personally brought a Buddha to the hotel. Try to get a tour to learn more about this vast collection. The building faces the Mosel River with beautiful views and there is a lovely café and upstairs terrace in the rose garden.

Brilliant!
If you only do one trip from Enkirch go to a Traben Trarbach - it is only 3 miles down the river. When you're there please go and visit the Buddha museum. It is restful, interesting and beautiful - even if you have never had an interest in Buddhism. Go to the roof garden and breathe in the brilliant view of the river and surrounding hills. Bliss
