Hot water springs
At just 4 km southwest from the center of Banja Luka at the village of Srpske Toplice are these pleasant hot water springs. Water pours from a source in the riverbank into some small pools and then into the Vrbas river. The water in the pools is luke warm (not really hot, but enjoyable). Despite the lovely weather on a weekday afternoon there were not many people. Go here with low expectations as it is just a rather small area without facilities worth mentioning. For me the attraction of the place was, it is not 'developed' and not touristy. The pools are mainly used by local people. If you cross the road directly east of the pools, a very nice trail leads up to Banj Brdo hill.
