Visited the church many years ago with my mother and father while on holiday in La Manga. Quite a drive in the coach up to the church it was very, steep side to the road the driver of the coach drove quite close to the side of the road and my mother was a bit freighted as she sat by one of the windows of the coach facing the steep drop next to the road. We were told that some Spanish people went on the knees up to the church on a sort of Pilgrimage to the Saint. A.nd I remember the name of the church too The alter piece inside the church is worth looking at too As I remember. Worth the trip on the coach also

    Beautiful Church with Great Views
    We visited the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Fuensanta as part of a shore excursion from Cartagena. The church is located outside of Murcia and the ambient temperature in this area is much cooler than downtown Murcia. The countryside here is also very peaceful. There are beautiful views of the area surrounding Murcia and Murcia's skyline. The church inside is also very lovely with lots of gold ornamentation.
