Challenging but very enjoyable
Played in Sept 21. (I play off 8 and my wife plays of 24) It's a fine course with water on 16 of the 18 holes. Played it twice and found it challenging the first time but much more manageable the second time. Leave the driver in the bag for most holes!! Staff were very good and check in was fast and easy.

Championship Golf Course, Not For The Faint Hearted
La Serena Golf course has just come out of a difficult financial period and so the condition of the golf course has not been the best. That has now changed and the golf course is very busy and in very good condition. There is a lot of water on this course, in fact 16 holes are across or around water, so the high handicap golfer beware. Remember all measurements are in metres not yards, remember to add 10% to the distance, also a course planner might be a good idea. Technically a difficult course and you need to think a lot and plan your shots, that being the case, a really enjoyable course with some really interesting holes, close to the beach, so sea views and close to the town of Los Alcazares, so even with a quite clubhouse (albeit getting better) there are plenty of bars and restaurants very close by. Just off the AP7 motorway ay Los Alcazares Centro, a good location and definitely one to watch for the future. Low to mid handicap golfers will love the challenge of La Serena.
